There is not one, not two but many reasons that make Indian women the best in the world, something more than a queen perhaps. A queen is known by the dresses she wears, the palace that she lives in and most of all the power she possess. Here in India, whether or not a women has good clothes to wear, a fancy palace to live or the power to control the situations in the country, one thing that she has is patience. India falls among a small list of countries that despite its large population has the lowest rates of divorce filed. Unlike western civilization where most relations start with the dawn and fade off with the sun, an Indian female knows how to make relationships last till eternity.
In the beginning of the time for India especially right after the Independence, there were a number of hurdles that restricted the fair sex from evolving like others did in most others parts of the world but thanks to the law makers, social activists that she overcame all of these. It did take some time but if you look at the modern Indian women, you will see the time taken as rightly justified. It is her patience, knowledge and will that has made her grab the best of designations the world has to offer. Kiran Bedi, Indira Nooyi, Sarojini Naidu, Kalpana Chawla, Anjum Chopra , PT Usha, Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal and many more have proved their worth to the world. It would not be wrong to say that Rani Laxmi Bai was just merely a first glimpse of the power and potential that Indian women hold.
But what really makes Indian women the best in the world is the fact that despite all the achievements and accomplishments, she has always kept herself grounded. She is the one that makes sure every family member sleeps with full stomach. They say that people work for the betterment of society and that of the country once their own stomachs are filled with food, and every Indian women ensures good food to entertain the same. This, she does after having worked all day in the office which Indian men will never be able to accomplish. It is quite common to see them helping children with their homework, another characteristic that looks simple but works towards building a great nation. Even now a sister would not back off from giving up her studies just to make sure that her brother can study higher, a mother would not think twice selling her ornaments so that she could buy what her kids desire. I know girls who take care of their families when their brothers have to go out of the country for the sake of earning. It would not be wrong to say that if it was not for mothers, sisters and wives half of the country would still have been longing for most of homely desires that are easily available today.
The future holds a lot more than what the world has seen. Amidst the achievements that she has made she is still to get the due respect she deserves, especially from her opposite in the Indian society. Men need to be more careful about their soul mates, they need to show more respect to the same. She has given more than enough reasons to the world to earn respect and most of all she is unlike women of any other part of the world. What Swami Vivekanand said was true to every word as a real queen is the one who keeps her family happy and at the same time does not compromise on the work part. Every Queen deserves a king and it is up to Indian men now to show their worth as their Queen’s king!
