America was never an empire as the british. It was indeed barren land when they arrived with the exception of native communities with nothing to show. The Spanish, whom became Americans built alot of their wealth from manufacturing, innovation and tariffs. No comparison between that and India.

The British colonised countries with rich commodities and accumulated growth, India hasn’t done that either. They also played a great role in shaping the modern world today, again, not comparable to india.

Moving to Guyana is not equivalent to any European expansion.

The wealth in Guyana is not attributed to the influx of Indians, it is attributed to the boom in oil. The two have nothing to do with one another.

America was not a barren land with nothing to show for, if we talk about American plains it was and still is the best farmland on earth natives didn't have iron tools and metallurgy to farm chernozem (even Russians couldn't farm chernozem Volga Germans taught them).

Incas had massive farming terraces which took multiple generations to build so your claim that they had nothing is illogical as they did this without having the agricultural head start of middle east that Europe had.

Why do you think that colonization began after the colonization of new world? the immense wealth of new world funded the ambitious projects of trading corporations which sailed the world to earn profits.

i thought we were comparing wealth not influence on "modern world" so kind of a non factor to bring in to the discussion.

i never said it was equivalent to european expansion, it is just similar. Spaniards suffered great inflation and destruction of their economy due to the gold and silver from new world because they didn't invest it into developing the economy but for hoarding and flooding their own markets with exotic goods. The rest of Europe avoided that and ended up extremely rich.

and wealth of America is not attributed to influx of Europeans but to the diseases and technology they brought which could have been done by anyone else nothing superior similar to how the oil of Guyana could be exploited by non Indians nothing superior in that too.
