Why are most male models rail thin

Why are male models so skinny? Like chico, jordan, etc are twigs. It's not because of the clothes, they aren't even sold to skinny guys.
Is it because you only mog once get down to a very low BF% or is it that when you look like that, there's no point in working out, you've already won

male models are usually skinny because thats the look designers want in order to showcase their clothes (through runways and editorials) their goal isnt to sell clothes to guys that look like Chico and Jordan barret they just prefer a lean frame because it dosent take anything away from the clothes being modeled in so basically fashion designers just hate jacked cunts for runways coz muscles/mass distort the way fabrics sit and stretch

no that's not it. draping is different for menswear. you have more pattern pieces to cut, way easier to make adjustments.

ye that might be true for tailoring adjustments but thats missing the point its not about whether designers CAN tailer to jacked bodies its because they simply just dont want to.

muscles add bulk, change proportions and pull focus from the designs so its literally as easy as just avoiding altogether. And sure there are still some pretty decently muscular guys out there on runways but you can never tell since male models are hella tall and some have crazy frames which can give the appearance of being big.
