Why are my pics frauded?

I always ask people what they'd rate me irl vs what they'd rate me on a photo i show them.
I mostly get rated top 25 - 35% by many people irl, pictures get rated 5 - 10% better, even tho i try to not fraud
What looks better in a "frauded" pic even if i'm not frauding? Is it lighting mostly?
