99% of cultures are retarded and just amount to "we used to do things this way because we had no technology and were poor"

culture is an attitude about life, Times are changing it makes sense attitudes would change as well

it's just prototechnology

it will stick a round for a couple more centuries and then get relegated to the category in which superstitions of the old and middle ages are now

the same question as "why do women like strong/tall men", when we have 1. social infrastructure and 2. tools/weapons that completely neutralize the advantages of strength in terms of survival chances. fast forward 150 years, and it will, for multiple reasons, become a relict of the past

i mean the first nlp-based software ever put in public only obliterated one domain of human activity, and it's art

but the second question makes sense within the context of naturual selection.

why would people be drawn to unfamiliar and inferior ways of living their life?

it's a bigger psyop than marvel movies

i dont understand the question. we're being taught from an early age that culture, education, refinement of our minds in general, are our highest values and what differentiates us from unimals. culture and acknowledging of its value for us is everything but unfamiliar and inferior

or, if you want it, getting a jacked 6ft5 retard to protect you as woman is just as inferior, since the odds like he'll end up in jail or beat you, and generally be nothing but a working ant for people with more cultured brains, often creating the failo effect that compels people to actively respect him even less based on their presumed collective perception

it's literally pre-science. that simple

from da vinci's painting techniques (he obviously didnt do random stuff and magically create something universally recognized as extraordinary) to gauss' formulas

i mean when people go out of their way to learn about and experience the traditions of old and irrelevant societies and act like it's high class and meaningful jfl

because to appear high class is still advantageous to the modern culture as well? they do it out of self interest

obviously the works of da vinci and ancient pottery techniques in papua new guina are not the same thing

big city cuck mentality. not understanding why people evolved under different conditions would have different preferences

it still is considered as such, but it won't hold on. obviously not all individuals from a generation have the same insight, otherwise you wouldnt have guys from ancient greece look like aliens compared to so many people in 2023. but, on the large scale, it's going away. a lot of people are already scoffing at that type of people you mentioned

it was a big thing in renaissance or earlier, not anymore. even true for philosophy. who's the biggest mogger of the 20th century? russell and wittgenstein, a reddit tier "reason"cel and a schizo spamming word-salads just to neg himself with more word-salads decades later

not to mention those literal french spammers

neither are the laws of motion or the paper on the photoelectric effect and "studies" about the impact of using tiktok on the attention span of teenagers, yet they are both classified as academic work

maybe to r/science

maybe to r/science

the formal status they have is the same. obviously history behaves like a wave, not by every organism on the planet making the same leap in the same instant
