I also cringe when i see people put their hands over their ears because of a fire alarm or ambulance or something

Or when there's like a sudden loud noise people jump up or get all worked up over it. Complete fucking low competence trait, if you're shocked easily by semi loud noises, you wouldn't last in a life or death situation.

My eardrums are still sensitive because I haven’t destroyed them like a retard

I know sensitivity to sound is an autistic trait but some sounds you really just don't want to hear more than you have to. If you can cover your ears and not hear something that sounds very annoying/too loud then why not do it?

Depends, if something is a super irritating and uncomfortable sound I think that’s fair, but just pure loudness I think is excessive unless it’s like damaging your ear drums

You're meant to have some sensitivity to loud and sudden noises

I mean naturally it's a good survival instinct
No it isn’t, it means you panic easily. I still ofc hear loud shit and look for the source but I remain calm and collected

Cause some of yall have not grown accustomed to it

This is normal. This is actually how they instilled fear of rats in babies in an experiment, the scientists made a loud abrupt noise and showed the babies a rat at the same time. The babies then developed fear of rats. Loud sound might be one of our primal fear.

It's literally a primal fear nigga, it's an activation of your fight or flight response and is actually good to be rather sensitive to loud abrupt noise.

Oh ok, it seemed like you were saying having any sensitivity is bad. I'm the same where I'm aware but not jumping and shit
