Because if you're not at least a 6, which is often the bare minimum to have any sort of good first impression, you're stigmatized and seen as some sort of biological threat for simply existing. Human beings don't like looking at average faces let alone subhuman faces. If you're being treated badly by everyone, you're probably just ugly.
