Imagine you have a 9-5 job that doesn’t pay bad, you have a good family or a wife that’s loyal, you have a side hustle that makes you earn around 1000 dollars a month and you are healthy. I see nothing wrong with living a normal life that’s how most people get by. The real problem is if your salary isn’t enough for you to travel to at least 2 countries a year and if you are an undesirable incel, then it is over for you even if you make 790k a year

since no one can claim that most such jobs in the developed world are particularly exhausting, i'd say it's mostly psychological, in the sense that you know you HAVE to be at work from x to x no matter what

i work in a smaller private firm with no superiors and i probably spend more than 40 hours per week on job related stuff (very often on weekends and during holidays), but it's liberating to know i can do most of my work when i want to

there's nothing bad with it, ppl back in the past used to work a lot harder. many ppl are just too lazy and would want an easy path.
if anything it's the fact that there are ppl who DON'T need to do shit and get all the money that makes you rage. capital

Good for you.

Something is wrong with you in that case

9-5 is for consumers & slave people.

No great mind has ever aspired to or idolised a 9-5

Good for you.

wasnt my intention to flex, i've just always been annoyed by this talking point on lookism (that having a safe, boring 9-5 is an unbearable torture)

Oh I didn’t imply that you were flexing. I meant good for you really. I hope I’ll get a job like that. Also people forget to see that free time is only valuable if it’s a reward of something. I can not be productive in times that I don’t work, in my free time I kill time on looksmax

Don’t aspire it, but don’t forget the fact that most people live like this, not all of us will be tate.

Life as a wagecuck is mediocre and meaningless.

same. the more flexible my schedule (counting from elementary school), the more i rot and waste time, over and over again. that's also a part of why being miserable about having obligations is stupid

It’s a ridiculous lifestyle, you asked what’s wrong with it and I told you.
