I have been looking for some good skincare because i'm on accutane and all skincares make my skin feel like shit, i check the ingridients list and they are horrendous they leave me feeling irritated, shit and kind of clogged. Like it's almost like they are doing its on purpose how can the ingridients list be so goddman bad on 99% of the skincare and the ones that i do actually find that are good they last only a week and are mad expensive. Even based doesn't ship here.

I'll mark solution if you give me some good skincare products 🙏 what do you personally use?

afroheadluke
Mainly smoothen the skin besides from the acne and possibly help it with clean ingridients that arent gonna fuck me up. i have been noticably dry while taking it and also i want something gentle that just does what its supposed to while accutane is doing its job
niacinamide
salicylic acid
face moisturizer

all that jazz lol how about that
what is your specific problem

Accutane is the best, however do your research, I think it has some side effects that should be highlighted. I do not know much about accutane personally, so do your own homework on it.

I have acne prone, mixed skin.

I use CeraVe SA smoothing cleanser, and for me it honestly leaves my skin feeling really nice and smooth, a bit dry though, but that’s what moisturizers are for. (can only use this once a day as salicylic acid can be irritating)

As for moisturizer i use The ordinary natural moisturizing factors + HA, and it leaves my skin feeling moisturized but not oily.

But what i’ve found personally plays the biggest role in my acne, is how much and what i eat, age and how active i am (working out)

CeraVe is such a cope, used that a couple of years ago and its dog shit. Doesn’t work at all, cope, temporary gains.

Plus don’t use any of their products especially if you have dry skin, it’s so shit and makes you feel like you’re flaking up, that’s my experience, but maybe extreme since I have mild eczema.

they already brainwashed people into thinking they need skincare. they know that all you need is a strong diet to get good skin so they put bs additives in it to so when you stop using it you acne comes back way faster, triggering the buying cycle.

Try get your doctor to prescribe you Lymecycline it worked really well for me and has almost none of the side effects that accutane has except it makes you kinda sensitive to the sun when your on it.

First of we don’t even have the same skin type, and you didn’t even state which CeraVe products you used.

Everyone reacts to differently to different products, the SA smoothing cleanser has worked for me for years and doesn’t break me out.
Saying a whole brand is cope because it didn’t work for you is retarded:feelstastyman:

I brought some facial cleanser, which is in a white bottle and I remember it has light blue colouring on a part of the sticker.

I can share my experience with a brand without it being “retarded”, the whole reason I mentioned my skin type was for that distinction. 🤡

Youre not just sharing your opinion. You literally said “CeraVe is such a cope” “Don’t use any of their products” That’s you saying CeraVe as a brand is bad, and not just that it just didn’t work for you.

What you’re describing is probably the blemish control cleanser, which is literally also the exact opposite of what you would wanna buy if you have dry eczema prone skin:feelsuhh:

Some roasties housewives do their own cosmetics with various formulations and using ingredients similar to what's used in expensive brands. Ofc it takes some research and time effort, plus ordering compounds, but may be interesting longer term.
