If you have a roof over your head , food on the table and live in the 1st world you are luckier than 99% of all of human history. Of course its easy to think of those who have more but what about the vast majority who have less.

Yes but what constitutes being 'dealt a bad hand' , sub-5 looks , poor upbringing , traumatic events. Our ancestors were forced to fight in wars they didn't want to , infant mortality was over 50% just over a 100 years ago , slavery , prominent racism and massive wealth inequality just to name a few others. Even with all three of the traits I mentioned that could constitute a bad hand , within reason these problems pale in comparison to the problems I mentioned our ancestors suffered. We live in the most egalitarian , democratic and wealthy society in history.
But suffering is relative , it is the gap between what you want and getting the thing you want. Perhaps, you should re-assess what you actually want.
i have a set of medical issues, mental issues that make me feel like im "hard done by". to me the way i feel is valid, might not be to u, oh well. Everybody has an opinion

That is valid and I respect that , I would never tell someone else how to feel. I simply try and tell the objective truth, even if its uncomfy. I think the average person is living in a victim mindset , it's only human nature to do so, and I am often a victim of this too , I have to remind myself and others sometime the world isn't as doom and gloom as social media makes it seem.

Even then another example would be UFC fighter Arman he was born in a rich family and he said the materialistic part of being rich is cool and all but it doesn’t bring him fulfillment, so he picks the toughest sports and tries to be at the top of each one.
