Why are South American countries more difficult for SEX than Asian?

Just thinking about it conceptually, both continents are filled with very poor countries and women looking to escape, and Asian culture typically places a lot more pressure on women to have self respect, be family oriented, etc.

That in mind, there is really no Bangkok or Manila equivalent in South America.

I think it has something to do with demographics and how the regions' populations evolved over time, particularly in colonial times.

Before the colonial era both South America and SEA could have had promiscuous, sexually liberated indigenous cultures since they didn't have Christianity and Romanticism.

In South America the Indigenous populations were small to begin with and then they were all but wiped out during the Columbian exchange for multiple reasons including being unfamiliar with european diseases and violence, making it much easier for European romantic Christians to replace their population and instill their values on those who were left, snuffing out the promiscuity and sexual freedom from the land.

Whereas in SEA the indigenous populations were much larger to begin with, had less conflict with their colonizers and, having had indirect contact with Europe for thousands of years through trade, they also developed resistance to many of the same diseases, making their population and, by extension, their cultures much more resilient and harder to replace and rid of promiscuity and premarital sex.

I think this is reflected in their ethnic and genetic makeup. Latinos are much more similar to Europeans physically than Asians are, for the same reasons.

But that's just my hypothesis.
