I think one reason might be is in MMA, largely, the twink framecel manlet divisions are the glory divisions, even though Dana tried to fix it pushing Brock, overem, to an extent ngannou, he couldn't fix it and the heavyweights are just high bodyfat, fucked up face ogres.

Boxing the glory division has always been and always will be the heavyweights, amd heavyweights r what people wanna see (ofc there are outliers like canelo or mayweather or de la hoya or pac man, but tey always rely on an external cope like ethnicity or playing a pantomime character), so chads Wil favour going into boxing cos chads are big, and they don't get as fucked up as they would in mma
