Why are threads so bullshit these days?

Nobody puts in effort nowadays, and everybody's releasing regurgitated/ brainrot slop

Is it that people are out of ideas?
Or they want to be the centre of attention?
Or something else?

There should be some max number of threads daily
Or we as a community should get to pick around 30 ppl every week who aren't allowed to start a thread

I've got 1000s nobody has talked about - listed on my phone, but I don't have energy to write them all up
I might release some so people can drop some threads.. but the only reason I haven't is because I think they'll half-ass it

Most of the good users are old and got either banned or rarely post now thats why. Its just teenagers posting nowadays for the most part.

It's a drag to continue browsing and see nothing new

I try to make my threads interesting to read + cover new things for this exact reason

1 person or a few people's posts daily, is just going to get hidden amongst the thousands of posts cluttering this forum
Which is why I proposed that idea of purging/cleansing the shit posts, or rather preventing them from being made.

@TitusA is right. Back in the day, before 2023 tiktokcel invasion, users would try their best and drop high quality posts
Even shitposters today (who also provide good content), such as @itzyaboyJJ, puts high effort into his shitposts

As time goes on, more and more new stuff is going to come out at faster rates.. so this number is only going to keep on dropping

yeah i have a lot of ideas as well, it's just that i can't be bothered writing them.

and many of my threads don't even get much attention either way, no matter how much effort i put into them. I even have some fully written drafts that i don't want to post cause i'll be disappointed with the lack of attention

What I might do is write a long list of ideas people can pick and choose from
It won't go through threads I'm planning on making/ theories I got.. but it'll have research points nobody has done

1. User who posts it
2. Title chosen, also the tag chosen next to the title
3. Time it is posted, depending on the number of active users on the forum
4. If he will bump + tag users to see his thread
5. If he manages to finally convince a mod to stick his thread

Most users fail at at least 2 points in these lines, and then wonder why time passes, and get no notifications..

1) 19:00 GMT
2) 00:00 GMT

I also roughly bump at: 07:00 GMT, and 16:00 GMT
