Why are we used to how we look

It’s a really tough pill to swallow when you look at yourself objectively for how you really look. I looked at myself with rose colored glasses because I’ve seen myself so much. I have a big nose chubby cheeks and big ears that gives me a goofy look. Sucks and I can’t unsee it
