Our society is designed to produce high inhib ppl. Social media has a plethora of popular posts that discourage low inhib behavior and due to the fact that basically every young person spends hours and hours a day on social media, they are bound to become more anxious about doing this behavior and thus higher inhib. Also, since they spend so much of their time on social media, they are naturally spending less time doing shit in real life, and through a series of mental processes they become less confident doing anything in person as compared to their confidence online. I think that low test has a role here, but that social media is the primary issue.
