Why aren't beards attractive to most women?

I've asked women this and most say they dislike beard or at least they dislike grown ones that are past the fade or 9 o-clock look.

Shouldn't facial hair be appealing because it represents a sexually mature man. Why would beards even exist as a trait that almost every man can develop if they weren't appealing especially since there were no razors in the past so everyone had beards?

I have a few theories on this.

1. Most men due to low test or other reasons grow patchy pube like facial hair so it looks uneven and dysgenic even with a light stubble.

2. Women associate men with full grown beards as hiding an ugly recessed lower third.

3. Most men who have beards are older or uglier then average (poor hygiene) so they associate any facial hair with these people but if chad grew one it would look good.

Certain foids do like them but those foids tend to be post wall roasties.

That's cause they go for older men in general though. Most women do as they get older at least. I think a beard on older guys looks good since it commands some respect especially when your older

when girls say they don’t like beards what they mean is they don’t like unkempt/patchy beards, because most guys are dogshit at beard care (inb4 “muhh cope,” I’m clean shaven.)

Girls will tend to prefer a big beard less not because they think you’re frauding a jaw or whatever but rather because you’re HIDING the jaw, which is the equivalent of a woman hiding her tits. Girls like jaws. This is why stubble is consistently rated highly among women.

But also, this depends HEAVILY on culture. In asia probably only a tiny minority of girls prefer beards, in saudi arabia probably only a tiny minority of girls prefer clean shaven.

If you have a good jaw you should NEVER have a full beard. Heavy stubble should be your absolute upper limit.

Few years back when I grew out a full beard, no one was doing it and I had women asking me in clubs to touch it.

Now everyone (normies) has a beard so it looks more unique from an evolutionary perspective to stand out clean shaven or with a stubble. (peacocking)

Same with long hair.

Same with skinny / baggy

age? I can't grow a proper one either but I think my relatives couldn't grow one till 25 it looks like pubes/patchy.

Might try minioxidil someday beards are great if you are bulking

its not the beard. Its the people wearing the beard so overtime they disliked it. Its like if you saw a bunch of blacks and they were all ugly and say u find black ppl unnattractive. Most of the tiktok chads and shit are clean shaven too

This would be true but it varies on genetics some people can grow full beards by 18 some people never will. That still also doesn't answer why beards or facial hair came to be in the first place

Yeah that's my theory too. Most people with beards are either in their 40s or they are reddit tier guys who don't bother shaving not for a style but just because they don't care enough to shave and are unhygienic

Yeah I found the long hair look to really ascend me since my skull is sorta weird and I have a big forehead. I can't really grow facial hair that well it looks like pubes/a pedo or something if I try

Play the high class ivy long hair look with a prep style.

Try to always combine all your styles into one coherent image or class.

People are looking to categorize you, so play into stereotyles which favor you and yoir background.

It’s cause 90% of men’s beards are un groomed patchy and look shit so that’s what girls think of when they see them


A light clean stubble can do very well and adds sex appeal but I wouldn’t go above that

maybe non-sensitive androgen receptors? Testosterone is not the full picture of androgen activity. It could also be genetics but i dont know if beards are genetics or not
