Homosexuality was considered a mental disorder until political pressure forced them to change this. There was never any widespread agreement among doctors that being gay was normal, they were just strong armed into changing it. This is why homosexuality isn't accepted anywhere outside of the western world or those handful of non-western nations that have "westernized".

Pretty much all of the so called "progress" in the west for the past 100 years has been a part of a marxist plot to destabilize society. Female rights. Homosexuality. Transgenderism. Immigration. All of it.
