You can mix your protein powder differently next time. Try to mix protein powder and yoghurt and ice together. You can add berries and such if you want.

Cus you're drinking it. The chewing sensation is something that satisfies hunger on its own so if you're just chugging nutrients it's gonna be less filling than eating it

Drinks like protein shakes aren't really filling. Go eat something that's difficult for your body to digest, things with cellulose or fiber. Celery, apples, etc. That's why drinking juice != eating that fruit straight up, you're missing out on its contents that actually make you full.

Protein in natural form is filling cuz meat is digested in stomach with its acids breaking it down into amino acids slowly so stomach stretch triggers satiety and going thru small bowels after to be absorbed there slowly as well. On the other hand, Protein powders and drinks are already processed and they skip the stomach part quickly and get absorbed in gut so fast that it spikes insulin. And that messes with your blood sugars and negative feedback leptin. That's why protein powders are meant to gain muscle (insulin stimulus for both protein and glycogen uptake by muscle).
