The hate that this forum has for Asian looksmaxxers (like myself) is undeserved, and perhaps for that reason is the MALE GAZE.
Men HATE watching other men with slightly less dimorphic features pull hot and sexy women, and when they see Korean media and see millions of girls thirsting for them, it’s their natural instinct to deny and hate.
We can also see it happening to Justin Bieber when he was younger:
JFL at the subhumanity of this emo hating on him.
Another “reason” why looksmaxxers hate on Asians was because of a stupid TikTok post:
This very tiktok post( Which was confirmed to be a hoax and fake) was just another reason that Mayocels could deny the rise of Asian Kpopmaxxed Changs SMV.
We do not deny that Henry Cavill is better looking, and we don’t deny that Kim Namjoon is very average, but these “looksmaxxers” on Tiktok don’t even care if the news is real or not, they just want to hate on Asians and stop their rise in SMV in the west.
You can see on Tiktok, that an average looksmaxxed Asian can get hundreds of thousands of likes, comments filled with Becky’s, yet the looksmaxxers will still deny Asian SMV. (I’ve even seen some people say Indian SMV is higher than East Asians JFL
).
Im not saying Asian SMV is the highest in the west (No I’m not delusional) but saying that
we have the lowest or even below average SMV is just pure hate and COPE.
Here’s some data from last year to back this up
JFL at this study being one of the only studies who doesn’t group East Asian CHANGS with SEAcels and Currycels.
In the other study, “I can’t find it anymore” Asian also had the 4th highest decreased attraction, So in decreased attraction, they rank lower than Indians, Hispanics, South East Asians, and on par with the black men in decreased attraction. JFL at currycels still being the least wanted
So we can see there’s a big niche for us Asian men, but also an moderate amount of people of women who haven’t been exposed to enough media from the East, who may be less willing to date Asian Men.
All I’m trying to say is, No, us East Asians do not have the same amount of SMV as south Asians (Maybe after the great shift, they’ll see a increase in attraction from women, but we’ll have to see”, and we actually have DECENT SMV, and will continue to increase in coming years.
