Why Bone density -> Bone size

The more bone density you gain the less of your bone formation bandwidth will go to maintaining or building further densith and instead it will be dedicated to Periosteal formation aka size

At first, your body works hard to make them stronger and thicker inside, kind of like packing the blocks tighter. That’s called bone density.

But once your bones are already pretty strong inside, your body goes:

“Okay, now let’s make them bigger on the outside!”

To put it simply, yes

But you can grow size without "maxxing out" the density. Its just that having a stable foundation which from what ive gathered allows for the ideal environment for volumetric growth
