why can't i breathe while mewing

blocked sinuses or some breathing problems with airways most likely. this shouldn't really happen you are mewing incorrectly i think

i was in the hospital this summer and they told me i had an old sinusitis after scanning my brain (i wasn't in there because of the sinusitis) and i haven't done anything about it since so you could be right

Youre doing it wrong.

Youre not supposed to push your tounge all the way back. No one can breathe when they do that.

Keep the tounge on your palate just enough so you arent blocking your airways

are you recessed by any chance? i have a super recessed friend that tried mewing in 2023 winter with all the looksmaxxing memes and said he couldnt breathe while doing it.
also if youve been mouth breathing for most of your life you just arent used to breathing through the nose so its blocked

I've always used my nose at least i think. and some guy on here told me my chin is recessed

Honestly. As long as you breathe through your nose and you palate isnt narrow youre 99% likely to ne mewing naturally already

recession of the maxilla and mandible (which are cause by not mewing) leads to blockage of the airways, dr mew makes vids and shorts about this

Honestly. As long as you breathe through your nose and you palate isnt narrow youre 99% likely to ne mewing naturally already

My palate is somewhat narrow tho
