People think politics is literally a 1 sided game, when u realise theres special interests and despite literally like most of the supporter bases not supporting covid lockdowns it was massively on the agenda on a lot of conservative leaders.
People like Trump say one thing and do the complete opposite. Its hilarious how you niggas in 24 just really looked past on what he did during the lockdowns.
Lockdowns single handingly have secured republicans and right wing parties across the first world guranteed election wins. Corrupt cities like chicago and new york police departments who are actively in bed with politicians, right or left - doesnt matter, were able to get hikes in their police budget, meanwhile having to deal with less crime (so billions of dollars in corruption and hand outs to corrupt officers and people in those agencies)
The covid lockdowns had caused people to leave cities too. People who may have been socially liberal from living in cities in masses began moving to the country side, so much so that basically every major cities population has seen more people nationally moving out of them then moving in. In exchange for better quality of life, people who were otherwise socially liberal, lived with a bunch of rednecks and a way more conservative sorrounding. Causing them to shift rightwards.
If you feel like the world post covid has went nuts in terms of politics, dont worry it has.
The UK for example which has had a mainly 2 party system for basically centuries has completely flipped, Trump won the popular vote and won every swing state.
Im sorry if your so naive to think that there will be no pushback on either side from oligarchs who make their money off illegal migrant workers , working for pennies.
Suprise suprise, trump comes into office, the illegal crossings from mexico stop but then the illegal crossings from cuba spike. The legal crossings arent much better, a bunch of el salvadorians from a country thats run by someone who is very supportive of trump and his ideas. Aditionally there have been a massive spike in indians coming too. Trump is painting himself out to be a friend of Modi.
It isnt that diffucult to see, Trump makes good relations with certain world leaders, and then invites them over.
You are also very stupid if you dont realize what Trump is doing in terms to Ukraine and Russia is just to send back the Ukrainian refugees, the quicker the war gets finished the less ukrainians there will be who are going to become full fledged citizens and vote democrat. Even prior to the ukraine invasion, ukrainians have actively voted in favour of democrats, compared to their russian counterparts.
You may be asking, why would Trump care? Its his final term. As if your acting like he doesnt have multiple sons and daughters who are absolutely going to run for president and have a political dynasty like the bushes and the clintons.
