This has a lot to do with our moral priors as liberals. Because we live in a modern world, we live in a liberal world. Regardless of whether you identify with the right, we live in a society that is still fundamentally structured around liberal assumptions, particularly the assumption of individual agency.
Even those who reject liberalism politically still end up relying on its moral tenants in practice. And one of the fundamental tenants of liberalism is the blank slate, Tabula rasa. This idea that individuals are, at least in principle, free to become many different things. Individuals are born without builtin mental content or innate ideas, and that it is only by the world, that we are coloured by our ideas, our personality, and our behaviors.
And so the idea that a people or a person is inherently anything at all or has predispositions, everyone has a tough time with that because it contradicts this fundamental premise. And we like the black slate, why wouldn't we? We think it's fair that anyone can be anything and that if anyone ends up being the wrong thing, it is probably the result of choice, effort, or character.
Nobody looks at a person as the product of their innate circumstances, their Genetics, their heritage, their parents, the ideas of their people. People do not like the idea of a predestination. We must have agency, we must have freewill. We treat eachother as if we have free will all the time. it's certainly the case that societies that are predicted on the fact that we don't, don't do very well. And societies predicted on the fact that we do, do a lot better.
People also tend to get very offended when you treat them like they're mere automatons that lack agency. There's something that people find, very constraining, slave like even. The idea that you don't have autonomy and even worse that you're not responsible for your choices, for some reason It's an insult to someone to suggest such a thing. To do that to someone in a legal sense you'd have to argue something like diminished capacity, mentality illness, under the influence, that you lack the intellectual capacity for good judgment. Basically that you're retarded.
Part of the respect you give to another human being is that they are responsible for their actions. And part of that is that if you do something bad, you are responsible for that, but also if you do something good you're responsible for that as well. Just imagine you strive, virtuously let's say, to produce something of extreme value, and you worked really hard but then just to be treated as if that was a mere deterministic outcome of an unbroken casual chain of events. No one wants to believe that. Free will may be incoherent, but it is socially necessary.
This is where the blackpill becomes deeply uncomfortable. In the blackpill, this idea is expressed with a deep frustration of the fundamental inequalities in life. The blackpill confronts people with the possibility that some of the most important outcomes in life, attraction, intimacy, love, money, status, are heavily constrained by immutable traits. Looks matter so much, and not only that, but the aspects that matter most are precisely those that are hardest or impossible to change. Anything that is easily changed tends, correspondingly, to matter less.
The blank slate's response, embodied by the bluepill and redpill, is to preserve agency at all costs,
The blackpill and deterministic ideas as a whole have always been psychologically destabilizing. This is why coping is inevitable, this is why you even find niggas here coping. Yes US (you and me). Even in our own spaces, people can't help themselves but cope. Not because we are retarded (some niggas maybe) or dishonest, but because what is the alternative? To fully accept a world where agency is limited, inequality is fundamental, and genetics are destiny?
If even people here cannot help but cope from time to time, just imagine how necessary coping is for the average normie. If normies got seriously blackpilled, it wouldnt be long until they consider roping.
