I was a member their for a while since late 2016. The sites traffic started to dwindle a lot starting in 2018 and that reduced the motivation for the admin/admins to give a shit about the site. It makes sense as most of the content became highly repetitive which likely led to the site use decreasing. All the stuff about looksmaxxing techniques from basic to advanced ( like what plastic surgeries to get ) were discussed a lot and people knew what to do. Previously people didn't know what to do.

Also a big thing is that smv has a lot of blackpill elements that are depressing. Many users have reported increased depression and motivation being part of this site, and to truly ascend they feel its best to discontinue use. This contributed to lower user activity over time as people realized that.

In the end this site too can face a similar demise, but I feel that if some user who ascends hard and gets rich will likely keep this site running. I think that this site should remain. It will be a treaure trove in the decades later to come, an obscure forum with insecure and narcy men trying to discuss looksmaxxing techniques and the fucked state of women . It will be interesting to see.

I started out on lookism too before I had to migrate here after the shutdown. Kept the AVI and name though. Til this day we don't know what exactly caused the shutdown, which is shit.

The only thing I regret is not downloading bookmarked lookism sites. So much knowledege lost...

I think the other part which I still don't know is true, but might be , is the possibility of some user actually going ER and then the site going down to prevent potential liability. We all joke about it a lot , but I guess having a direct highly visible internet trail was a risk the admin of the site couldn't take. I do know for a fact that after we had major shootings , like the one in Oregeon the site was gone for a few days.But it came back.

I also know that after the ER incident sluthate also got nuked.

Correct, the. physical knowledge aspects in terms of looksmaxxing knowledge are the lookism researchers who made the best content on lookism net for surgeries, etc , left lookism net years ago, to pursue their lives. Now this is more of a venting forum. I feel that if I were to get more free time, or others, we could revive the knowledge. The best of the best threads do have some very good content in looksmaxing. More could be done however.

Their are also trolls and negative people, that either deliberately out of trolling needs or actual hate due to their lives been shit just using this forum as a outlet of negativity. Its a prime target for trolls as your targeting those who are deeply insecure of their looks, which means any insults the victim takes seriously. While some normie may not care much.

In the long run , its likely that this site will see more new users and less old users posting, as its just not healthy for the brain seeing this negativity. Some user summed up lookism net with saying bookmark the looksmaxxing and mental maxxing threads, and then leave.

For me its complicated . I take random breaks, often for months, only to post for a few months consecutively. Why do I come back? Cause lookism lives rent free in me. Its a love hate thing. Thanks to lookism I was able to improve my looks and slay some bitches. But I also have developed deep insecurities from lookism and that has also ironically in my down periods of life contributed to me not going out and approaching foids and being high inhibition. e

It seems that we both have the same point of view here. I share exact the same line of thought, also, with those random breaks.

I think this forum has better moderation and overall more potential than lookism had. Lookism born out of the blackpill and was a extremely raw forum .Me to me is more like a polished extension of it(or shouldve) and i dont get the same incel and agressive vibes here that i had on lookism although this forum is still hostile, that's what keep me posting here. Although i had my account on lookism few years back in 2018, i never had intention to post, because the scenario was very savage. And there are alot of valuable active members to this day here although good threads are uncommon

I used to browse before I lost my virginity and then I stopped giving a shit as I realized that I wasn't doing badly with girls IRL with wider exposure. Previously I was shutincel and asocialcel.
