Why did my parents force me to get accutane, but deny LF3?

I don't understand, it's always the same pattern. My parents forced braces as a kid, but did not look after my breathing habits.

Now, they forced accutane on me (which triggered balding btw), but they won't allow me cosmetic LeFort 3. It's like they want to fix my skin but not the bones? My parents think attractiveness is 100% teeth and skin, when in reality it's the zygomatic arch and lateral expansion of the maxilla.

I'll keep pushing LeFort 3 on them, maybe they will change their mind
