That’s what women do. His friends probably just feel more confident and brave when he is with them, it’s just way easier to hit in girls when you are with friends than when you are alone. When you get rejected you just go hang out with friends for the rest of the night but when you are alone and get rejected, then you have to go home like a pathetic cuck
