They think it cleans the chicken because like a fruit you dunno what’s been on the chicken etc.

The irony is this actually just spreads the bacteria . And cooking the chicken kills the bacteria so there’s no reason to wash it.


Only reason I know about this is because my sister does it and was disgusted when I said I don’t do it and she called me disgusting like a white person lol

Who dunno man it’s ignorance in this case more than retardation cos not every black does it but many do wash it in a pot before cooking it. Personally as I said it’s retarded from a scientific standpoint but if they don’t know any better then they do it.

I personally don’t do it because I learnt how to cook watching YouTube videos in uni but if your home schooled on how to cook maybe you’ll end up like my sister. Honestly doesn’t make a difference. My mum never washes chicken either so I dunno where my sister learnt this from
