This is something that I've started to notice. For example, so many white guys and girls I know are into punk rock or rock or slower, more sad, very laid back songs. Even when it comes to genres like rap, a lot of white people liked Lil Peep. When I listen to Lil Peep, all I hear is a drug obsessed maniac trying to sound relevant. A lot of non whites, especially blacks, are into rap and r n b. Every time a white girl or white guy sends me their playlist, I just can't get myself to listen to it. I like some of the music (especially punk rock), but I just can't get into it no matter how much I try.
Most of today's rap is of course trash, and I mainly listen to older rap, r n b, and pop, but why are these tastes so racially diverse?
