They have all these standards for you but fail to understand life back then before how social media really existed or had a big impact was way more simple and economically state of the world was better. Its like they try to live there life through you. And your not expected to question anything because there your parent and they gave birth to you so everything they say is valid immediately. It's also why I think ethnics kids that come from shitty countries tryhard so much in school just to end up in the same dead end job as the others who didn't really try and spend nights studying instead of socialising
