Why do I feel like I can write better than the best fantasy writers

Nobody will read them. You have to dumb down your writing to have a chance of being published (you won't be). But because your writing is dumbed down, it will never stand the test of time. But if it's not published, no one will ever really know about it, in your time or any other time.
