Why do i like to roleplay as the main character of a movie/story line

Like yesterday when I locked my bedroom doors and pretended to be the main character of Whiplash. Instead of being the drummer, I was an eccentric piano player with an abusive coach. I think played the song at the end on my headphones but pretended that I was doing the WHOLE orchestra on a multi layer meyboard.

Then everyone clapped and cheered and my coach smiled and stuff.



On other days I pretend that I am the king of a great Christian empire, while listen to little dark age or blood upon the snow

truth is probably hella unhappy w ur own life and struggling w feelings of worthlessness / purposeless. it’s the same reason a lot of people love video games: makes them feel like they’re some kind of hero and the most important person in the world with a goal only they can do . Especially in the world we live in where nike you barely change anything.
