lighting and angles probably
ur usually a bit further away from your zoom cam so i'd say that

Mirrors and mirror seflies are still the most accurate,
the problem with regular mirrors is that its hard to see our face as a whole instead on focussing on 1 part + we tend to overrate ourselves

I would say zoom calls are more reliable, selfies can be too up close and make you look worse, unless you know how to fraud them

not to mention in a call you'd be in motion, which automatically makes you look a lot better than a static image
