I guess in mirror pics the image is inverted. When u take a photo from back cam the image is not inverted. U are not used to inverted verstion of uself so u look like shit in ur eyes. It's been quite a problem for me, I am insecure about my eyes. When the pics are taken I can't look at myself

I thought mirrors are the most accurate you can get minus it inverts your face so if you use a true mirror and you have asymmetries itll look 10x worse in you're eyes

Yeah fr it drops your self esteem so fucking much lol.
Ive heard that its just cus of asymmetries.
So if you got a true mirror and looked into it itll show you the flipped version of yourself everyone else sees you as, but because of asymmetries your brain will be horrified.
But it doesn't really matter irl
because people looking at exactly the same image will see you as more attractive than you see yourself.
Now what ive read about shitty phone cameras are exactly that. theyre shit and they cause massive lens distortion so itll make you look fucked in many ways.

i got this mirror selfie and i ran it in faceapp and still can’t make myself look good enough in my standards

ran it on photofeeler got a 8.8, photoeval 6.8

however it’s on my dating app profile so it must be decent since i still get some matches

didn’t use sc camera tho and no idea how to morph in picsart
