I’ve been dating this girl for a month now and we’ve been really close. We met when she asked for my number and I was super hesitant to give it. I even said no but she was super persistent. I never clicked with someone like this before even though I talked to a lot of girls before her. We’re pretty intimate but sometimes, I can’t help but feel disgusted at myself and I don’t want to even look her in her eyes.

Because of the intimate part? Maybe guilt from religion or something like that

You have a spidey-sense in your nervous system that gets triggered when situations similar to traumatic ones for you (and the way your brain coped with it) are being experienced. So you could’ve felt abandoned before, or been put down and felt like you’re not worth it, or you’re scared you might hurt her. I don’t know you but think about what underlying fears you might have that are causing you to outwardly react that way.

Not sure what I can really do with the information
Just keep it in mind going forward, you don’t have to dwell on it. You’re not the same person that you were, and your nervous system isn’t trapped like that forever. You undo that by having positive experiences, and allowing yourself to slowly lose those associations with the negative feelings you have. You don’t have to lie to yourself or anything, just let yourself see how things really are. Try to go out of your way to reprogram with new situations.
