Why do I want to ascend?

Is it it just me or is there any people out there who yes they want to ascend but they do not want to ascend for getting “girls” (no i am not gay). Yes getting girls is a pretty big factor on why I and many other people want to ascend but it’s not just that, there’s something else that I just can’t get out of myself. I don’t know.
