Most people certainly don't have such bump. Men who aren't bald but shave their head most often don't.There is none. Most people have that bump, you can see it on them because they are bald.

I am not saying all bald people have it. You can obviously go bald for many different reasons. The calcification theory is a strong contender in my view. On the other hand, if the bump is skeletal, then it could possibly cause unfavorable stretching of the galea. Is it a coincidence that pattern baldness often begins at the top of the head?increased calcification of the skull accumulating there perhaps? idk what else could cause a boney change that has any relation to known balding mechanisms
