To sell more clothes. Taller height = wider range of clothes to sell due to how variable sizes can be amongst people.

Model agencies prefer tall models primarily due to industry standards, visual aesthetics, and practicality in fashion presentations. Here are the main reasons:

1. Runway Requirements

  • High-fashion runway shows require models to have a commanding presence. Taller models create a more elegant and elongated silhouette that enhances the way garments drape and move.
  • Designers often create sample sizes meant for taller frames (typically around 5’9”–6’2” for women and 6’0”–6’4” for men), ensuring a uniform look on the runway.

2. Proportions & Photography

  • Taller models tend to have longer limbs and balanced proportions, which are often more visually striking in editorial photography.
  • Clothing samples are generally designed for taller figures, making them fit better without extensive alterations.

3. Industry Tradition & Standards

  • The fashion industry has long favored tall models due to historical preferences, making height a standard for high fashion and couture.
  • While diversity in body types and heights is increasing, top agencies still prioritize height for competitive modeling opportunities.

4. Presence & Marketability

  • Tall models stand out in advertisements, creating a strong and commanding presence that appeals to luxury brands.
  • In group shots, height ensures better visibility, making models more versatile for different campaigns.
While height is a key factor in high fashion, other types of modeling—such as commercial, fitness, and petite modeling—offer opportunities for shorter individuals. The industry is evolving, with more inclusivity in recent years.

Because even clothes look like shit on a shorter person compared to a tall person, lol, the heightpill doesn't stop the brutality..

I'm also right now working on one of the most brutal threads in the history of this forum, soon, exclusively on looksmax.org

Chances are that it's going to be even BOTB worth it.. so stay tuned..
