Why do most people get rated MTN, even after they looksmaxxed

Its funny that a lot of guys, even some people who don't even deserve the MTN rating, get rated even after they leaned down and even after they did everything they could to looksmax lol. This is what I call a looksinflation where HTNs are now MTNs and LTNs are Sub5. This is why looksmaxxing should've never been popular lol

I can imagine a few reasons. One reason being two trains of thought that largely pollute this forum. On one hand you have users who have had this forum warp their perception of reality to an extreme and think to be attractive you need to look like a Mediterranean PSL alien and on the other extreme you have TikTok greycels who will try to rate with very surface level knowledge. Both of these groups will give you largely useless info. My last idea to why this may be is the fact that ascension is a lot less attainable than one might think. For a lot of people there's only so much you can "polish a turd", and so you get delusional posters like FunkyFlamingo and the sort who will go through drastic changes in appearance but still remain somewhat hard to look at. Only specific bases will really benefit from an "ascension" and those will be the transformations you'll see gathered into "TikTok glowup" comps. Even surgery will only get you so far though the focus of surgery on this forum has lowered for both better (was tired of people thinking anything was possible with it) and worse (it's often the only thing that will make a real difference).
