He is not attractive, but he probably would be average looking if he knew how to take a proper picture, rather than placing the camera 16" in front of his face.
My guess is that a lot of old ladies frequent that forum. The thing will old ladies is they are obsessed with non wrinkled skin, they see a young man with youthful skin and they think he is good looking oblivious to the flawed bone structure a younger woman would reflexively notice.
