Grinder, brou meeting up with guys after asking their height
which gay hookup app you on?
lol this exactly my experience except I'm genuinely a little above 6ft and people always assume and imply I'm 'tall'. Only conclusion is all the 6ft frauders have skewed the perception so bad that I might as well start claiming 6ft2 jflI am 5'10 and a bit morning height, and about 5'9 and 3/4 in the afternoon. I stopped claiming I was 5'9, because guys and girls would always tell me I am taller, even though technically I am both 5'9 and 5'10. The amount of times I get told I am taller than 5'10 is still frequent because I sometimes wear air maxes, and I have decent posture and proportions. Not to mention a lot of strong 5'10 guys claim 6'0, and they are about my height.
This guy I know said I was like 5'8 one night, and he is about 3/4 an inch taller than me and claims 6'0. I am not insecure about being 5'10 so if a guy calls me 5'8 I won't even bother correcting them, because then I look like a lying manlet. I was wearing slides that night and he was wearing af 1's. so he was about 6'0 in shoes and I was about 5'10 1/4.
The other week I saw him and height came up again, this time I was wearing air maxes and he was wearing vans. We were talking about body comp and I said I was 5'10 160, this time the same guy told me I was 6'0 because now we were looking eye to eye.
I apparently grew 4 inches according to a guy not even a full inch taller than me.
Shows how terrible most guys are at judging height and how frequently people lie. Girls are probably even worse, and it sucks because I don't know what height to put in dating apps. I tell girls 5'10 but then they'll be like "so youre actually 5'8 huh?" when I could pass as 5'11 barefoot, when I wear tall sneakers irl.
Well, 6'0 barefoot is also legitimately tall in the U.S. You could get away with claiming you are 6'1 or 6'2 but why even bother? Lying about height serves no purpose outside of dating apps because if you are in front of someone, claiming a different height doesn't actually make you look taller.lol this exactly my experience except I'm genuinely a little above 6ft and people always assume and imply I'm 'tall'.
