Why do normie guys consider it acceptable to put excessive effort into doing their hair?

This is something I’ve noticed- it’s common for normie zoomer guys to get perms, frequently get expensive haircuts, blow dry their hair, use a bunch of products in it. But it’s “weird” to have a skincare routine, dye your eyebrows/use minoxidil, etcetera.
