I've noticed this since I was a kid even with people who I call friends.

I could be approaching my friends (don't have any now btw) unbeknownst to them and I could hear them having a loud conversation where they're actually having fun, but as soon as they see me, they suddenly change and they don't appear to be as entertained as they were without me.

Could this be because I'm a narcy? I guess I do narcy things like always keeping talking about my stuff and ignoring what others say, but I don't really notice this.

One trick I used to do in college, was to approach a group of people in my class, talk to them and act really enthusiastic or say something controversial - I would behave in a way that basically guaranteed that they would gossip about me, after I left. I would then leave my backpack there with a voice recorder in it, and tell them that I'm going to the bathroom.
After 5 minutes I would return and listen to what they talked about me. I would then confront them separately:
"Why did you tell X this and this about me?".
And they were like:
- "What??? X told you this?"
- "Yeah!"
- "Son of a bitch! Look...we were just joking!"
- "If you only had any idea what else he told me about you...However I don't go around gossiping and spreading lies around..."
After a while they would start to blame each other and fight.

it's usually due to aura that normgroids sense. if you've been diagnosed with any sort of personality disorder then they can tell something is off whether it be good or bad

It never got so bad that I had to go to a psychiatrist to diagnose me with a disorder

Might have to start doing this aswell
Be careful cause you might not like what other people talk about you and you could easily become depressed, even a group of close friends sometimes mock or make fun of each other when one of them isn't around.
On the other hand, you could easily find what are some of your flaws and what the others don't like about you.
