Why do people drink 30 packs of beer instead of liquor?

So many people say “I’m gonna get lit bro!” And get a thirty pack of beer. Why? If you’re trying to get drunk just drink 3 shots of vodka and voila you’re drunk in 5 minutes. Why drink huge amounts of beer and feel bloated and fucked up and spend more money drinking beer? Makes no sense

Never understood why homeless people do beer runs. If I was homeless I’d just steal liquor not beer
