Big noses are normal it just depends on your genetics

I've found that most people at my school with nose bumps/huge noses are recessed or downgrown, and most with upturned or strait noses are somewhat forward grown

They come from bone and cartilage growth, mainly nasal bone and septal cartilage overdeveloping.

The maxilla plays a role because if it’s recessed or underdeveloped, the nose projects more and looks larger. Babies look perfect because their midfaces are full and proportions are small, puberty and bone growth distort that harmony

This is obviously controlled nearly fully by your genetics
