I tried playing a FF game and it was just random encounter after random encounter. Every step I walked I was forced into a mind-numbingly boring fight. I don't know how anyone can find that shit fun.

Original ff games in ps1 and ps2 is the best rpg story, now its money oriented, if u play the original ff7 the story is so intense even with trash graphics, 90s is the golden age for rpg

Yup and the last one to have a good battle system(and X-2). I remember trying out 13 in my teenage years and I fucking hated it. The stupid stagger system and the awful AWFUL main cast of characters. Lightning, snow, and hope are the most insufferable characters i've ever played as.
