Making it seem like they to lead colorful lifestyle, sharing exaggerated or fabricated stories about their success and life experiences sometimes going into extreme detail and creating false evidences to make everyone belive but it was later revealed that they were just basement dwellers in their 20s living in the attic. This is the complete opposite of how I use these forum. I'm always honest about what I share everything I talk about is real and actually happened, I hide nothing and I am unapologetic about it, my persona on the forum is exactly how I behave irl. I would think that forums like these would encourage honesty and open expression without judgment but that doesn't seem to be the case. Honesty and candid talk is rarely seen on these forums.

I believe it's likely a coping mechanism. These niggas use these platforms as a form of escapism, creating a false persona to avoid facing the responsibilities and challenges in their real lives. By doing so, they can seek validation and admiration from others without having to actually work for the success they claim. What do you guys think about these niggas?

Ive also seen niggas making up scenarios in their heads like them being the handsome high iq football jock that makes all the girls swoon and give themselves main character syndrome to motivate themselves to do things like going to the gym, studying for a test etc to uphold the fake status and reputation that have built up in their heads . I think this kind of delusions isn't too bad and I've seen people even encouraging this because it gives guys hope for a better tomorrow and allows them to push towards their goals to become the idealized version that they strive to be @deadstock

People with these things, with such cars in their yard, talking to their wives, taking care of their kids and living in such houses in residential complexes protected from the outside world, are not sitting on the internet talking shit with random people and wasting precious time of their lives with this crap..

Instead, unsuccessful people in eary adult life, with no resources inherited from their parents because they too were ugly, poor and friendless, without higher education or career prospects spend chronic time online talking about things that never happened and never will happen..

The Internet is just a diary of their dreams, their hopes, their aspirations, which if they can't fulfill, at least they try to convince others that they have them, because they know that no one can challenge them under the protection of the anonymity of the Internet, so they can be anyone, and do anything, with anyone..

Larping is similar to announcing big goals for the future and getting all the positive feedback from the crowd while you subconsciously already think you are that guy. This usually results in the stagnation and sinkin of the grind for most people. It is very hard to talk the talk and walk the walk, that's why the quiet one's usually get their gains.

You first have to ask if they’re getting something out of it, not just follower count but real money, connections, etc.

But the psychology of it, I’d say that yes, the larping itself is a cope for them. But it’s a very common one, larping is a lot of times the normie and NT thing to do, admitting stuff in the real world can have consequences. This will show up even on the internet because they see the anonymity of it as a chance to not get caught lying rather than as a chance to admit stuff.

As for how elaborate it can get, people can write fiction to no end, look at Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc. They write a fictional or exaggerated timeline for themselves.
