Why do people with curly hair have small skulls

Don’t think this applies to girls, but every guy with excessively curly hair (pop corn ball level) has an extremely small skull, anyone else notice this?

True even I have noticed this. small skull leads to your scalp being tighter and those folicles that are supposed to be circular become oval due to the longitudinal strain on the follicle, this makes hair curl up. Just a hypothesis of mine.
