You cant put constant and even force on the palate with it. Only a device like orthodontists make work, and only then only to an extent.

If you crack the palatine suture the soft tissue will put everything back into place. The reason why palate expanders work is because it’s a constant and controlled expansion. Thumbpulling is nothing like that I don’t know why people say it’s similar to an expander.
