in the uk there’s an isolation system and it’s so retarded because you literally just sit there without a proper teacher just facing a wall in silence for the whole day decreasing motivation to work dramatically and causing children to get bored when school was always supposed to be about “having fun learning” whatever that means ..

i think other countries have this too i think it’s retarded and is an unnecessary punishment that only affects those extremely extroverted trouble makers in class. i literally know someone who actually asked to go to isolation because it felt safer than in class

i only got isolation once because i’d skip detentions but i was a good student in school
