In my town there's this huge construction store and I've noticed this interesting thing: all the low-level positions are occupied by short guys - they are the ones who do the grunt work, they carry the construction materials from one place to another, they put the merchandise on shelves, etc...The medium jobs like cashiers or store assistants have people of average height, and all the guys in fancy suits who have the high-level jobs are much taller.
Why are the short people put to do the most difficult and exhausting work for little money, it's the tall guys who should be handling this, and the short guys could easily work in the office pushing pencils all day...
